Our Story
Pure Water, Inc.—originally known as Pure Water Society, Inc.—was established in 1968 near Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. With the help of well-known personalities Rudy Valle, Zig Ziglar, and Earl Nightingale in the 1970s, Pure Water rose to prominence in the design, production, and marketing of equipment for water purification by distillation. This equipment was made to meet the need for high-purity drinking water in homes and offices.
The first bottled water facility in Malaysia was established in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1991 to treat drinking water by vapor compression. This was followed by Pure Water (JB) in 1993 and Pure Water (Penang) in 1994.
For usage in Klang Valley and Johor Bahru, several local state departments have chosen Pure Water goods and services. In addition to these clients, Kensington Hospital, Bank Negara, Iskandar Regional Development Authority, Malaysia Marine Heavy Engineering, Kerry Ingredients, Johor Port Authority, KPJ, and several branded auto service centers including BMW, Toyota, and Honda are also clients of Pure Water.
The Malaysian Ministry of Health certified Pure Water (KL) Sdn Bhd’s bottling plant as HACCP compliant in 2006. Since 2009, Pure Water (JB) Sdn Bhd has been ISO & HACCP certified. We guarantee total customer satisfaction with regard to the excellent reputation, dependability, and consistency of our goods and services by staying current with the quality standards established by the local government and continuously enhancing our products’ level of quality by instilling the concept of ethical manufacturing practise throughout all levels of staff through internal training.
After more than 50 years, today Pure Water has hundreds of thousands of pleased customers among discerning homeowners, as well as a large number of commercial and industrial users worldwide.
